Bill Maher's Religulous

This movie is the talk of the town in Seattle and I am amazed at the bold stance taken by many on this film. Take a peek.

Article from Krist

Post from Krist about political choices at the local level.

Prop 8, The Musical

As a libertarian I was bothered by the deliberate overuse of political power in California with the passage of Prop 8. The direction local and state government is going in America is step by step away from protecting rights and lockstep into telling others what to do.

Whether it be drugs, sex, or rock and roll just because you dislike something does not give you the authority to make it illegal. I really would like to discuss why so many people want the government to control other consenting adults.

Perhaps there is a side of these issues you feel I have neglected to consider. . . ? Try me! The comment section is just inches away.

And to all you power mongers using the law to enforce your personal view of political power
(in a FREE country no less). . .

News From L.A. "Libertarian in the debate might stifle Obama and Mccain getting message out"

The CBS news channel for L.A. has reported on an very important ruling,

"U.S. District Judge David O. Carter refused to issue an order on behalf
of Barr and Wayne Root, his vice presidential running mate, that would
disrupt the Civil Forum on Leadership and Compassion scheduled to begin
Saturday at 5 p.m. at Saddleback Church.

"Plaintiffs will lose
out on a fair amount of exposure and the opportunity to express their
views in a popular forum," Carter conceded. "On the other hand, halting
this event would deny the other candidates the opportunity to be heard
and would deprive the public of an opportunity to see the candidates
and hear their views."

I agree that halting the event would not be a grand idea, but are we missing something here?

Yeah, Obama and Mccain are constantly on EVERY news channel almost every hour of every day. In fact, I would wager that there will not be a single nanosecond of time where the Obama/Mccain coverage is not on the television some…

I Have HAD It!!!

I am sick of this myth that people don't change.

People change every day.

The things we smell.

The violence we see.

The love we make.

Every time you see hope, or despair, or hunger in someone else's eyes it changes you.

Keep changing.

Keep changing.

Funny Obnoxious Kid

'Once' There was this film, who. . . .

Thanks, Joan, for suggesting that I rent the movie 'Once'.

From the opening scene with guitar and heartfelt singing I was hooked.

This stunning tale is about a songwriter, (played by Glen Hansard, of the Frames) busker making tips on the Dublin Streets, when along comes an admiring pedestrian (Markéta Irglová) who also happens to play a sweet piano. They interact, sometimes heading right for each other and sometimes heading off to their futures which lay deeply entangled with their past.

It is not your typical relationship as they not only avoid hooking up but they succeed in making the best of the gifts they have. I found myself mirrored in a skeptical music board operator who went into the show not knowing what to expect then by the end of it all willing to offer any ounce of support that could be mustered.

The casting was simple, the music was delightful, and the plot unfolds like a comfortable book.

Here is a smidge of the on screen magic:

I will buy this movi…

Something fishy here. . . Wonder Woman!!!

This article claims that Linda Carter found a body in the water where she was riding around in a boat.

Read it and tell me if you find the part of the story that is, well let's just say the part that is hard to believe.

Here is the article: Wonder Woman Finds Body

Huh. . . . did you see it???

The article claims Linda carter was ALONE in a boat!!!

Look at her, that is IMPOSSIBLE. She is too rockin to have been out alone in a boat.

There is some deeper plot here and I will have a crack investigative team dig into that when we have enough funding. This will be the second investigation because of course, I vowed to discover which band of ninjas killed Pat Morita

Hi, I'm an idiot!!!

Man finds ancient money from relative and instead of getting what it is worth he gives it to the government for face value. Those bills could have been worth quite a lot and the story too.

Money Story Here!!!

Next time you find money from almost eighty years ago, maybe ask around a little to see if it is worth more than the face value!

Now for some FUN!!! Ready???

OK GO!!!

Energy Crisis Solved???

Since I was a young man I always pondered the ability for power/energy to be cheap or free.

I have seen many idea like this one come and go with no Earth shattering ideas making it to our homes. So as much as I would like to see a unit like this make its way into the market, I am not holding my breath.

I wonder what we could do to get more attention from the mammoth corporations. Better yet find local small companies and offer them folks to invest in this type of direction.
