Friday Night

We had a blast with some of our movie geek buddies over to watch Mitchell (MST3K style) and enjoy an amazing meal at the hands of Deborah.

I have seriously considered looking into getting a new laptop. I had flirted with this before (with the advice of Christian) though I did not actually purchase one at the time. But as Deb gets ready for college and Liam is getting ready for school I see a need for both Deb and I to be able to work at the same time.

Delay out-

This is one of a few races in America that an (L) candidate has a shot at getting in or makeing a huge splash.

Too many say, 'I'd vote for you if I thought you could win'.
Well since the national Libertarian Party has shifted its focus on training candidates and improving campaigns we will see a larger percentage of elections decided and even won by the (L).

I say it is never too soon to start voting your values.

Weekend Worrier Would Win Washington Web Worry

Holy Cow,

A large number of people came out to the Guthrie for Senate HQ debut, and it appears that in this one night we raised almost as much as any Washington Libertarian has raised for their whole campaign. This was even despite the glitch on this blog for explorer users (firefox users did not show the same errors for some reason ~?)

Today Bruce spoke at Hempfest and he shook as many hands as he could at the booth we had set up (#545 for those coming out Sunday to help out).

I'd love to see more people get involved, but I'd be happy to just have more conversations about how we can make things better.

How can we break down the conversational taboo that keeps us thinking we know it all and that our answer/solution/vote is the best? I guess it is not easy to offer up your ideas for critiques from friends, much less strangers. But look at where we are going as a nation. Big News

Big News!

The Guthrie for Senate campaign is moving into a new campaign headquarters in Seattle . Bruce Guthrie's campaign for U.S. Senate has already accomplished many firsts for a Libertarian candidate in Washington State . This move to a large campaign office is just one more example.

To celebrate the opening of the new HQ,Bruce Guthrie and team will be hosting a big party this Friday, August 18th. We know this is short notice, but everyone should come down and join Bruce for food, music, and fun.

As a special highlight, Libertarian medical marijuana activist Steve Kubby, will appear as a guest speaker. Steve and his wife have been on the front line in the struggle for medical freedom for years and were largely responsible for California ’s Prop 215. In addition to the festivities, Team Guthrie will have t-shirts, yard signs, and bumper stickers so you can show your support for Bruce’s campaign. When: Friday, August 18, 2006Time: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pmWhere: Guthrie for Senate Camp…
